Some fiddling on the kitchen table (2024)

Op mijn 'blogronde' kwam ikdeze schitterende ATC'stegen. Evelyn van "voor mij-voor jouw" maakte ze en geeft ze zomaar gratis weg! Ze zijn eigenlijk veel te mooi om gewoon als achtergrond te gebruiken. Daarom maakte ik er een kaart en label omheen :)


During my daily 'blog hop' I spottedthese gorgeous ATC's. Evelyn from the Dutch "voor mij-voor jouw" blog made them and offers them for free on her blog. They are way to nice to use only as backgrounds so I made a card and tag and put one of the ATC's as an eye catcher in the middle.



Groen papier van Basic Grey bestempeld met Archival Ink #Coffee.

Accenten aangebracht op de takjes met een witte pen.De bloem maakte ik van een bestaande bloem (Prima Flowers) en een gehaakt bloemetje uit mijn voorraad.



I stamped on green Basic Grey paper with Archival Ink #Coffee.
Put some accents on the branch on top with a white pen. The flower is a combination of a 'Prima Flower' and a crocheted flower out of my stash.



De witte cirkels op de ATC accentueerde ik met steekjes. De meisjes gestempeld op een stukje van een identieke ATC, uitgeponst en in de cirkels gekleefd.


I made some stitches on the white circles to become a frame. I stamped the girls on a scrap from the same ATC, punched a circle out of the print and glued it in the 'frame'.

Nog eens dezelfde ATC gebruikt voor deze tag. De steekjes hier vervangen door streepjes gemaakt met een witte pen. Roosjes en lint zijn van Tim Holtz (Tim Holtz Trimmings).


Used the same ATC again for this tag. Instead of stitches I used my white pen to put some details on the white circles. The ribbon and roses are Tim Holtz Trimmings.

De achtergrond is net zoals bijdit blauwe labelgemaakt met ecoline, gesso en gel medium.

Met deze tag neem ik deel aan "The Summer of Color"waar het thema deze week "blauw" is :)

I colored the tag with ecoline, gesso and gel medium.Used the same technique as I used forthis tag.

In totaal 10 cirkels geponst om dit bloemetje te maken.

Punched 10 circles to make this flower.

Heel veel laagjes ecoline en gesso gesmeerd vooraleer deze achtergrond naar mijn zin was! Een hele dag met blauwe vingers rondgelopen daarna, ecoline is nogal hardnekkig:)

Used layers and layers of ecoline and gessoto make the background of this tag. Blue fingers were the result. Hard to wash away, ecoline:)

De rozen ingekleurd met Derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine.

Colored the roses with Derwent pencils and low odeur solvent.

Een reep 'bouwgaas' over de tag gelegd. Gaas ingesmeerd met gel medium enhet daarna weggehaald. Een mooie structuur is het resultaat. Gedroogd en weer met ecoline bewerkt. Een voorraadje oude houten parels teruggevonden tussen mijn rommel :)

Usedsome netting as a mask, put a layer of gelmedium on the netting. A nice structure is the result.Added more ecoline on top after drying.

Een tag gestanst uit bruin verpakkingsmateriaal. Er een stukje van mijn stofpapier (zie dit bericht) op gekleefd. Gestempeld met een randstempel en tekststempel.

Thetag is made ofbrown packaging material.Glued a piece of my fabric paper (seethis post)on top of it.I stamped on thetag with a frame stampby Hero Arts.

Een reepje papier gekleurd met Versa Magic Chalk stempelinkt en daar de bloem uit gestanst.

For the flower I colored a strip of paper with Versa Magic Chalk Ink.

Twee vilten bolletjes "gevangen" in een koordje :)

Made a pendant of felt balls and some cord.

Voor de verjaardag van een nichtje een label en kadozakje bestempeld. Dit soort labels gezien op het ART Specially Event.

For the birthday of one of our nieces I made a gift bag and tag. Saw this kind oftags on the ART Specially Event.

Alleen maar gestempeld, 't is ook wel eens leuk :)

Ik ben niet zo onder de indruk van chocolade paaseieren, maar wel van hun verpakking. Stevig doorzichtig plastic, stevig wit papier, mooi groen zijdepapier en leuke lintjes... Dat wordt bewaard natuurlijk :)

Chocolate Easter eggs don't impress me that much these days, but I'm interested in the packaging material of these eggs. Acetate,firmblank paper, lovely greenpaper, nice ribbons...I'm certainly going touse that some day :)

Deze keer staat de maandelijkse uitdaging bij Art Journey in het teken van de 'tags'.Dit is mijn bijdrage.

De bloemen op de achtergrond zijn eerst kleurloosgeëmbossed, daarna kleurde ikhet label met distress inkten tenslottedeed ik de embossing met het strijkijzer weer verdwijnen.

This month, the Art Journey challenge puts 'tags' in the picture. This tag is my submission.

I first clear embossed the flowers on the background, then I colored the tag with distress ink and at last I ironed the tag to remove the embossing.

De bloem nog eens gestempeld metStazOn #Jet Blackop stampbord tegeltjes. De tegeltjes gekleurd met distress inkt endaarna het meeste zwart van de bloemweer weggekrast. De randjes zijn bewerkt met schuurpapier.

I stamped the flower with StazOn #Jet Black on stampbordtiles. I colored the tiles with distress ink and then I removed most of the black ink with a scratching tool. I used sandpaper to remove the ink from the edges of the tiles.

Dit is mijn laatste kerstlabel. Eén van de volgende dagen toon ik nog de kerstkaart die ik maakte voor de Art Journey challenge en dan berg ik de kerststempels definitief op :)

De kerstman is gestempeld op een ATC die ik eerst kleurde met Distress Inkt. 'Believe' op een restje gestempeld en er een Tim Holtz fragment opgekleefd met Glossy Accents.

This is my final Christmas tag. One of the next days I'll show you my entry for the Art Journey challenge, and then I'll put my Christmas stamps away until next year :)

Santa is stamped on an ATC colored with Distress Ink. I stamped 'Believe' on a scrap and glued a Tim Holtz fragment on top of it with Glossy Accents.

Restje Crackle Paint papier gebruikt om een hartje uit te ponsen.

'Oud' gemaakt met Distress Inkt #Walnut Stain.

Used a Crackle Paint scrap to punch a heart.

I gave it a vintage look with Distress Ink #Walnut Stain.

Met boekbindlijm eerst een laagje papier, hier muzieknotenpapier, op de tag gekleefd.

Daarna met 'Crea Coat' het dunne bovenlaagje van een servet erover gekleefd.

I first stuck a piece of paper on the tag with some bookbinding glue. Then I glued the thin upper layer of a napkin on top of it with Crea Coat.

Het rendier zit verstopt achter de kerstman :)

Weereen label geïnspireerdop de "12 Tags of Christmas" van Tim Holtz.

Achtergrondgemaakt metverschillende kleuren rode Distress Inkt, de randjes bewerkt met Gesso.

Another tag inspired by the "12 Tags of Christmas" by Tim Holtz.

The background is made of several colors of red Distress Ink and some Gesso.

De'bookplate' is geverfd met Distress Crackle Paint #Peeled Painten daarnabewerkt met Distress Inkt #Walnut Stain.

De cijfers zijn geëmbossed met Ivory.

The bookplate is painted wiht Distress Crackle Paint #Peeled Paint and distressed with Walnut Stain.

I embossed the numbers with Ivory.

Ik maakte nog maar heel weiniglabels, maar ik geloof dat daar verandering in gaat komen, ik krijg de smaak te pakken :)

Mijn labels hebben dezelfde afmetingen als de Christmas tags van Tim Holtz (15,5 op 8 cm), daar kan je al het één en ander op kwijt!

Untill now I only made a few tags, but I like doing this! I think I'll make more of these in the future :) My tags have the same size as the tags Tim Holtz uses for his "12 tags of Christmas", fun to work with!

I stamped the birds with Distress Ink #Barn Door, distressed the edges with Walnut Stain.

Bloem gemaakt van tissue tape (leuk om te doen en heel eenvoudig), knoop uit mijn voorraad.Ik heb geen "Speckled Background"stempel die sneeuw nabootst, ik gebruikte wat gesso en mijn afwasborsteltje om mee te stempelen :)

I madea flower out of tissue tape (fun to do and very easy), found this button in my supplies. I don't have the 'Speckled Background stamp" to imitate snow, I used my washing-up brush and some gesso to stamp with.
