Summer is the best time to visit Cala’n Bosch, when temperatures average 30°C and there is little chance of rainfall. However, Menorca benefits from warm Mediterranean weather throughout the year, with temperatures around 15°C even in winter, making it a great place to visit during the spring and autumn months.

Take the kids down to the beach where they can snorkel for fish among the rocks in the bay and swim about in the shallow waters that are ideal for little ones. Restaurants at this resort are all very child-friendly and there are other activities such as the Goody Goody Park by the marina, complete with trampolines and bumper cars, and the Aquarock Waterpark just nearby.
Things to do for couples
When you’re not busy relaxing on the beach, try out some of the watersports on offer in the area, such as at nearby Son Xoriguer (a 10 minutes’ walk away) which offers scuba diving, sailing and windsurfing. Around the marina there are some waterfront shops selling souvenirs and some great restaurants for long lunches and tasty paella. Stick around in the evening when the marina comes to life with people and you can sample some co*cktails or have a go at karaoke!
Excursions from Cala'n Bosch
Cala’n Bosch is only a 20-minute drive from Ciutadella, a medieval little town with lots of sightseeing opportunities and boutique shops. It’s a great place to walk around and explore the Baroque and Gothic architecture or discover some of the local museums.
