What You'll Need for this Recipe

The ingredient list for this refreshing berry mimosa recipe is short and sweet. Here's what to add to cart.

Strawberry Nectar is how we get the strawberry flavor vibes. Feel free to use strawberry juice instead--either fresh juiced or from concentrate.

Fresh Mint is a must to complete the flavor profile. Dried mint won't work the same in this recipe but you can use any variety of fresh.

Champagne supplies the effervescence and alcohol content. You can also use Cava or Prosseco.

Strawberries are an optional garnish to add that extra touch when making mimosas for guests (or treating yourself). Use fresh or frozen strawberries.

Adding the Mint Flavor

Simple dropping a sprig of mint into a glass doesn't actually provide any mint flavor. To get those vibes, tear off a mint leaf and rub it in between your thumb and forefinger.

This will slightly crush the mint, which releases the oils that hold all the mint flavor. I like this hands-on approach when adding mint to champagne instead of using a muddler since the glassware is more delicate.

From there, you just pour in the strawberry nectar, top up when champagne, and you're done. Doesn't get much easier than that!

Tips & Tools

Grab a bar spoon to mix up these juicy berry mimosas. And if you don't have a bar spoon, a butter knife and a gentle hand will work just as well. You won't need any other tools.

Can I make these mimosas ahead of time? No, because of the bubbles in the champagne, you don't want to mix mimosas in advance.

How to Serve

Serve these mint and strawberry flavored mimosas in champagne flutes with extra sprigs of fresh mint for garnish. I also recommend floating fresh or frozen strawberries on top for more razzle dazzle.
