      Hi Christine,
Growing up with a wonderfully happy, ever smiling mama, our holidays were large, noisy and included all of the traditional foods and festivities of the season. That meant rich, creamy, well-spiked eggnog. This was the one time of the year when we children got to drink alcohol–and boy what fun that was for us. So your joyful recipe for Irish Eggnog brings back fond memories of family members–long since gone–but still in my heart. Thank you for sharing this at the Healthy, Happy, Green & Natural Blog Hop. I appreciate your spirit.

    Hi Jennifer,
I too love the clean, simple, organized elegance of bento boxes. I got my first bento box lunch kit back in my “macrobiotic” days when lunch was really a multi-food meal, so this stainless steel bento box included containers for my obligatory miso soup, brown rice, seaweed, steamed veggies, beans or tofu. I would drink a cup of kukicha twig tea with lunch–served from thermos I also carried. It was awesome! I actually still have it tucked away in the uppermost reaches of my kitchen cabinet. Your post is inspiring me to take it down, clean it up and use it again. I love your bento box’s thermal carrying case with room for dry ice packs. Thank you for sharing this inspiring post at the Special Holiday Edition of the “Healthy, Happy, Green & Natural Party” Blog Hop! I really appreciate it.

    Hi Jennifer,
This recipe for cheesy protein crackers sounds amazing. Plus it seems relatively easy to make–now that you have helped us all by perfecting the recipe. These will be great with raw and vegan dips at parties and holiday festivities. Hi Sara,
I grew up with a loving grandmother who made homemade cough syrup for my brother and I so when I saw this recipe for elderberry syrup I was elated. I personally love to make and use natural cold and flu remedies such as my favorite ginger root tea. These remedies really work and they do less harm than many of the over the counter cold remedies in the drugstore. Thank you for sharing this healthy natural remedy at the Special Holiday Edition of the “Healthy, Happy, Green & Natural Party” Blog Hop! I really appreciate it.

I must confess that I am a little envious of your beautiful, clearly-labelled mason jar and organized cabinets.
