The flavors of fresh peach pie is made into a creamy, sippable smoothie made with almond milk, that’s perfect for healthy breakfast, dessert or snack.
This year I’m partnering with AlmondBreeze to create and share recipes using almond milk. We’ve traversed the course ofsweet to savory and we’re finishing things off with a classic reason to use almond milk: it’s smoothie time folks!

But let’s be clear, smoothies aren’t just for breakfast anymore. Especially when you have the flavors of homemade peach pie in the mix.
We’ve been hitting the farmers market hard these days. It’s seems like it’s always that way thanks to our short growing season and the realization thatbefore long our mountain air will be throwing down blizzards of snow instead of sweltering rays of sunshine. At least that’s what I’m counting on thanks to the good old Farmer’s Almanac. Make it so!
These peach pie smoothies don’t actually contain pie. Although that would be pretty darn good, but it would sort of negate the healthy aspect of this recipe. Or would it?
I’ll let you be the judge.

About the Recipe
Smoothie making is pretty simple so we won’t drone on about the intricacies, of which there are few.
I used fresh peaches for this recipe because they’re perfectly ripe and sweetened bytheend of summer season. If you choose to use frozen peaches, please do! Simply use ½ cupice instead of the full amount.
I used Almond Breeze AlmondMilk Original for this recipe. It’s naturally sweetened and gives the smoothie its sippable thickness and makes this smoothie soy and lactose free.
Honey sweetens the smoothie pot. Add more or less depending on your peaches. Almond extract gives this drink it’s peach pie flavor. It’s really one of my favorite parts of the drink.
While I didn’t include it in this recipe, if you want to up your fiber, add ⅓ cup of old fashioned oats to the blender mix and give it a whirl. The kids will slurp it up like no tomorrow. And so will you.

Survey done and thanks for the smoothie recipe and inspiration! It’s hard for me to say what I love most about your Friday faves. I always look forward to them, love the diversity, amount and fun of them. Not everything is to my personal taste, but still fascinating and gets me beyond some of the beaten path. Thanks! Loved your post on reunions, too. More! Anything on dads?
