In December 2023, Netflix published What We Watched: A Netflix Engagement Report, aka "Netflix data dump," viewing hours data for all their movies and shows. This is an overview of top films and top show TV shows between January and June 2023, which recorded more than 100.000 hours of viewing globaly. No country details were provided, but it is still more comprehensive than the weekly numbers that Netflix has been providing since June 2021.
This is not an all-time report; this is still available separately and with a different logic, focused also on subscribers and not hours, which favors longer TV shows. A list of the most-watched series and movies of all time on Netflix is available here. TOP 10s are still published, we update rankings daily, and every Tuesday evening, new weekly reports with the most-viewed movies and TV series from Netflix are coming by.
So far, Netflix is the only streaming service providing numbers about the most-watched and popular movies and TV shows.
