How to Renew Your Credential(s)/Permit(s)
To renew your eligible credential(s)/permit(s), you must login to your CTC educator profile. Please visit www.ctc.ca.gov, click Educator Login. Find the document you wish to renew listed under Renew Your Document. If you have difficulty,you may refer to Renew Your Document Online.
ELIGIBLE DOCUMENTS:
Clear, Professional or Professional Clear Credentials, Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit, Child Development Teacher, Master Teacher, and Site Supervisor Permits must be renewed online through your CTC profile.
PAYMENT:
The current online renewal fee is $102.65 per credential ($100.00 application fee, plus a $2.65 processing fee) using a debit or credit card payment only.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
Beginning 2/15/2017, Educators are required to create a User ID and Password to access their existing profile.
If you have been locked out of your profile or cannot obtain your User ID and/or password, please email CTC directly CTConline@ctc.ca.gov. The FCSS Credentials Department does not have access into CTC’s online system, and cannot assist with login issues.
How to Print Your Credential/Permit/Certificate of Clearance/Internship
The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) no longer issues paper copies of credential(s)/permit(s). You may obtain a copy of your valid credential(s)/permit(s) by logging in your CTC Educator Page at www.ctc.ca.gov. You may refer to CTC's Instructions: How to View and Print Your Document.
How to Register Your Credential(s)/Permit(s)
If teaching in Fresno County for the first time, you must register your credential(s)/permit(s) with the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools. Applicants candownload and complete the Credential Registration Form and email to our office using link embedded in form.
Adding Teaching or Content Area
Current California Credential holders have an option of adding additional authorizations to their credentials and applying for additional credentials. Please visitCTC's website to obtain information. We strongly recommend you contact your Employerfor assistance.
