You can set your preferred language for buttons and other display text that appears in Google Search.

Tip: This doesn’t change the language of your search results.

In the Google app

  1. Open the Google app Change your display language on Google - Android (1).
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile icon.

  4. Select your preferred language.

Mobile browser

In Chrome or Safari, you can use the browser settings page to change the language.

  1. On your mobile device, open Search settings.
  2. Scroll to the Display Language section.
  3. At the bottom, tap Confirm.
