How to Make Bahama Mama Jello Shots
Step 1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove the boiling water from the heat and whisk in the pineapple and orange Jello mix, stirring until the gelatin is dissolved.
Step 2. Add 1 cup of cold water.
Step 3. Add 1 cup Malibu rum and stir to combine.
Step 4. Divide the jello mixture evenly among your shot cups, then move the cups to the refrigerator to chill for at least two hours.
Step 5: Garnish with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry and your Jell-o shots are ready to serve!
Tips & Tricks
- Spray a little bit of coconut oil in the bottom of your shot cups to prevent them from sticking and make them easier to remove.
- Don’t add more alcohol than the recipe calls for. It may be tempting to make extra strong jello shots but too much alcohol will prevent your Jello from setting properly.
- If you don’t have Jello shot cups, you can use plastic shot glasses or condiment cups instead.
