2024-01-17T15:38:07.2+00:00 Azure Files is part of Microsoft Azure's Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering. It provides managed file storage services, meaning that Microsoft handles the underlying infrastructure, scalability, security, and maintenance. This allows users to focus on utilizing the file storage services without worrying about the management of hardware and software typically associated with an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution. And remember, if you find this information helpful, please feel free to accept the answer.

sometimes it's hard to differentiate IaaS from PaaS. In my opinion i would rate Azure Files as a PaaS.
