'Tis the season to crank your oven.
Fa la la la la, la la la la!
Give your cookie batter someloving.
Fa la la la la, la la la la!
I grew up in the kind of house where there weren't a lot of sugary treats around (healthy parenting). So I learned at a pretty young age, that the best way to get my sugar fix, was to bake my own cookies. As far as I can remember, I actually don't think I tried a store bought cookie until I was well into my teens, and I was horrified at how incredibly terrible they were. So dry, hard, and bland. I still don't know why people buy them.
So this year I decided to find some recipes from awesome bloggers across the netso I can get my holiday baking on!
Just check out all of these delicious looking vegan Christmas cookies! Some are gluten-free, some are healthy, and ALL of them are deliciously vegan.

Totally not vegan but I have a relative who is vegan and so I wanted to make him a superior treat and to be honest I wasn’t sure where to start with making vegan cookies. I saw your recipes and I love these cookies!! Seriously, they were so delicious. Thank you so much for these awesome recipes.

Oooh my goodness. I love soft sugar cookies. I think between these and those, that might be my holiday baking right there.
I don't really like vegan butter -- do you think cashew butter would work for the cookies and coconut butter for the frosting without messing it up, flavor-wise? 🙂
Sam Turnbull says
No, that would completely change the recipe and flavourings, I don't believe it would work well. Enjoy!

Too many of these are gluten-free - gluten-free stuff taste like crap! I'm so tired of vegan being lumped in with it.
