Updated 12th of May, 2022, by Michael Llewellyn: Renamed the Meta Quest 2, the device has proven to be one of the most popular VR headsets available today. This is thanks to its accessibility and wireless controls. The wireless controls allow for even more immersion than the likes of the PSVR, thanks to the way its users can fully make use of the space around them. The biggest selling point of a VR headset is how immersive it feels. Not even current-gen machines can replicate it, and users are always on the lookout for the nest world to lose themselves in. This list has been updated to include some recent hits on the Quest 2.
THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY
13 Sniper Elite VR
- Released: 2021
- Developer: Rebellion
The greatest sniper series in gaming finally makes it onto the VR. While Sniper Elite 4 doesn't have the massive variety or openness that the main series has, the satisfaction of getting a headshot is just as thrilling as the mainline games.
The story plays out like a low-budget B-Movie, but it is easy to put that to one side when the gameplay is this good. The 1940s wartime setting is great, and the Quest does a great job of taking us back to another time.
